TD SYNNEX became the first distributor of Intel Geti, Intel’s AI software platform that creates computer vision models in a much shorter time and with less data, in the USA and Europe.

Following the successful launch of its “Destination AI” program earlier this year, TD SYNNEX will further expand its AI offerings and training capabilities by introducing the Intel Geti software platform, a new solution that uses AI to analyze and understand images and video. TD SYNNEX will serve as the platform’s first distributor in the US and Europe.

In TD SYNNEX’s recent Direction of Technology report, it was also shared that the number of partners offering AI/ML solutions has increased by 625 percent globally and that AI/ML is the most important technology skill that business partners in North America are looking for in candidates they want to hire in the coming months.

At the enterprise level, the Intel Geti platform is used to build vision models for detection, classification, segmentation and anomaly-based tasks in any industry where computer vision can bring business value. Trained models can be used to make inferences on all modern hardware platforms, regardless of CPU or GPU manufacturer. To make it easier to use, models can be automatically optimized for the “Intel Distribution of OpenVINO Toolkit” so that inferences can be made with improved performance on Intel architectures.
